We are currently looking for a EDS Electrical Engineer for one of our automotive clients in the Midlands.
The role
Develop the Low Voltage and High Voltage EDS for JLR HEV and REHEV projects. Supporting the EDS team leader, develop the HEV and PHEV EDS. Tasks include: Requirements capture. Standards development. Resolve HV and LV EDS engineering issues on the vehicles. Supplier liaison to ensure suppliers development is on target and meet requriements. Circuit development.
Essential skills and qualifications
Electrical Distribution System (EDS) - wiring, connectors, fuses, shields and supports. EDS development process - circuit definition, device transmittals, harness packaging, harness protection, manufacturing and service constraints. EDS component development. Problem investigation and problem solving.
Previous EDS Systems development experienced essential (Not EDS packaging).
