Fircroft, the global technical recruitment specialists, has chosen five UK-based charities to support with a 2009 Christmas corporate donation.
Continuing a tradition that sees Fircroft make corporate donations to both local and national charities around the time of Christmas every year, the five charities the company is supporting this year are:
The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital
Derian House Children’s Hospice
Dream Connection
The Family Holiday Association
The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children)
“We are a family owned business and we feel that supporting charities that help families and children sits well with our brand values," comments Fircroft CEO Johnathan Johnson. “Each year we donate the money we had previously spent on sending out corporate Christmas cards to charities. We hope that our donations go some way in helping our chosen charities in their valued activities throughout 2010."
Kate Marshall, from Dream Connection, one of the smaller charities that Fircroft has supported this year, comments “It was a lovely surprise when Fircroft contacted me and all I could think of was that we would now be able to fulfil the wishes we have waiting and especially before Christmas."
