The Role:Networks position resides in the Electrical Engineering department, within the Electrical Integration Team, reporting to the Senior Engineer for Architecture, Diagnostics and Networks. The Engineer should liaise with Feature owners, Network Engineer, E0 Version Manager, Architecture team and Group networks team to ensure that all Networks for the vehicles perform to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Specification of Vehicle networks test processes
- Whole-Vehicle Network Test conduct
- Single ECU Test support
- Network Sign-off
Experience
- The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in testing vehicle communication networks
- You will be proficient in the use of network tools including CANoe and Data Loggers
- Detailed knowledge of Network systems technologies, alternatively if you are not from an automotive background then strong experience of Networks from and IT / Telecoms or related industry would be of interest
- Network Hardware and Software experience
- Experienced in developing test plans and procedures
- Flexible and adaptable to transfer skills into automotive environment
Essential Skills / Qualifications:- Networks Engineer should be qualified to a minimum of HND in electronic engineering or a related subject. German language knowledge would be advantageous
