The Company:Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The Role:Position Description:
- Specification of Diesel EMS software functionality.
- Validation and calibration of Diesel EMS software functionality.
- Prototype build and plant support to resolve build and manufacturing issues.
Skills Required:
- SW specification and testing in automotive environments
- Ideally EMS related.
- Proven record of project leadership & delivery of SW functionality to meet cost & Performance / attribute targets.
- Electronic systems engineering.
- Calibration tool experience.
- Canalyser / INCA experience.
- Excellent Supplier Liaison, communication and Management skills.
- Strong understanding & application of Design quality tools (DFMEA, Robustness, etc).
- Self Motivated, enthusiastic and a Good Team Player.
- Good analytical skills & PC literate.
Skills Preferred:
- Green Belt trained.
- Experience with EMS software specifications / mechanisations.
- Matlab / simulink data measurement and analysis.
- Working knowledge of the company project delivery processes
- GPDS, eFDVS.
- Working knowledge of the company change management processes including AIMS, WERS.
Experience Required:
- Two years or greater experience with automotive Power Train / EMS gasoline / diesel projects
Education Required:
- Degree qualified
