Calibration Engineer - Hybrids - 20756

The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
Reporting to Hybrid Calibration Lead, contributing to the development task planning and execution for delivering a hybrid powertrain capable of meeting engine out (and observing tailpipe) emissions engineering targets whilst meeting FE and NVH requirements.

Skills Required:
ETAS Inca Mathworks Model-based Calibration Toolbox Strong understanding of Gasoline engine engine out emissions control. Appreciation of Designed Experiments and multi-parameter optimisation.

Experience Required:
Proven delivery experience in dyno and vehicle driveability development. Proven delivery experience in dyno and vehicle emissions development.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of Bosch engine control strategy. Experience of Simulink and Control systems Proficient in use of Excel. Presentation skills

Education Required:
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
