The Client
Major T1 mining house with multiple sites and projects across Australia. A short-term contract is on offer to assist with scope of works. Initially 3 months with a chance to extend a further 3 months. Perth-based with WFH options. Unlikely to visit site. Start early May. 

The Job
Working with the owner's team, you will promote business excellence through full use of your broad range of skills in the areas of problem solving, technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and ESP management to drive engineering effectiveness and value optimisation.

You will focus on EPCM productivity and Engineering Management to drive value optimisation and engineering effectiveness. Your support will be through Definition and Execution phases as the project develops to support the delivery of superior safety, scope, cost and quality outcomes.
  • Support the Study and/or Delivery manager with the development key project deliverables in accordance with Our Requirements and the Minerals Australia Projects Internal Standard.
  • Drive Engineering Effectiveness through management of engineering deliverables, EPCM performance management and participation/co-ordination of HSECCOM/HAZOP and Owner’s Design Review workshops.

What you need:
It is important that you have experience in working within dynamic environments with strong experience working with and managing EPCM engineering deliverables. You will need to be an effective problem solver, influencer and possess outstanding communications and stakeholder management skills. 
 
Project Engineering skillset requirements are as follows:
  • Strong Project Engineering/Engineering Management experience
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar discipline.
  • Design, construction and execution experience - Wet Plant experience is essential. 
  • Experience working with or managing engineering providers and deliverables
