On behalf of our Global Oilfield Servies Organisation, NES Fircroft are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join the Perth team.

This position is a maternity leave cover contract for 6-8 months, based in their Perth CBD office on a Monday-Friday basis. 

Position Description:

Become a part of the broader Human Resources team that provides expertise, support and guidance on HR processes and other activities for the client group Managers and Leaders. This includes but not limited to organisational, talent, cost efficiency and culture related matters. As a HR Business Partner, the successful candidate will need to also understand IR issues, Performance Management, Development and Succession Planning as well as provide generalist HR guidance and advice. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Arranging workforce planning, employee relations consulting, talent management, succession planning and promoting DEI agenda, for personnel on organizational and employee matters.
  • Preparing work requiring analysis and interpretation. Procedures don't cover all the exceptions as a result, approaches for exceptions have to be developed.
  • Communicating with employees, People Leaders, Managers and Supervisors, and disucssions with the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.
  • Regular reporting to local authorities per national standard, liaising with immigration authorities to ensure regular reporting on visa sponsorship and status change.
  • Coaching and mentoring employees.
  • Advising on personnel cost for project management and commercial teams.
  • Developing effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives. 

Qualifications/Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years solid experience in Employee Human Resource Management
  • Experience in Oil and Gas, Mining or EPC industries.
  • Experience in Multinational Company setup.
  • Experience in analyzing compensation & benefits
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects and be able to influence across different teams.
  • Organized approach to problem solving with good analytical skills
  • Local legislation knowledge will be an added advantage.
