Schedule: Mon-Fri (40 hours/week) Hybrid

Description:
Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources.


Responsibilities:
• Perform regular administrative activities relating to the Canadian benefits program offered
• Interact with the senior Canadian benefits advisor as well as internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain efficient business processes
• Provide support for Canadian benefit queries from employees and third parties
• Identify opportunities to streamline current processes and document accordingly
• Assist with reconciliation between systems and vendors
• Partner with the senior benefits advisor on benefits project work
• Provide support in the review, updating and funding benefits for payroll
• Support the annual enrollment campaign, including project planning, coordination and execution alongside various stakeholders
• Establish effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience (preferably in Pension and Benefits)
• A relevant undergraduate degree in business or commerce
• Preferable experience with Workday and Service Now
• Solid organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Solution oriented with problem solving capabilities
• Eager to learn and able to work in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment while being flexible with changing priorities
• Highly motivated to understand the 'why' behind what we do and how we can make it better
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to build relationships and develop an understanding between third parties
• Exceptional judgement and discretion when dealing with confidential matters and working with others
