The Inventory Recovery Coordinator is responsible for managing the process of the sale of surplus material, coordinating their valuation, obtaining necessary approvals, and facilitating their sale or donation.  This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong coordination and communication skills, capable of making informed decisions and managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Investment Recovery Coordinator must also be adept at navigating company policies and procedures to facilitate the effective disposition of surplus materials.

Key Responsibilities:
-Surplus Material Documentation: Receive and verify Source Documents from Business Partners detailing material information.
-Material Valuation: Collaborate internally to determine the value of materials based on purchase price using several methodologies.
-Approval Coordination: Secure operational and financial approvals for declaring materials as surplus, following the authority matrix for different business areas.
-Material Tracking: Maintain records of surplus material ownership and track its status until the completion of sale or donation.
-Donation Coordination: Engage with External Affairs team to explore opportunities for donating surplus materials to charity and manage the documentation and approval process.
-Sales Coordination:  Create and complete Sales Agreements and Disposal Orders. 
-Coordinate with Finance to ensure compliance with company requirements. Obtain necessary approvals based on the valuation of surplus material or its fair market value and maintain comprehensive records in SMART system.
-Financial Reconciliation: Liaise with accounting to adjust accounting records post-sale and ensure timely invoicing and payment tracking.


Basic/Required:
•           3+ years of experience in transactional processes.
•           Legally authorized to work in the United States.
•           Strong networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
•           Basic knowledge and understanding of SAP material management.
•           Detail-oriented and accurate.
•           Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:
•           Working knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain processes, procedures, practices & techniques.
•           Oil and Gas materials sales experience and marketplace knowledge.
•           Commercial Acumen.
•           Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what’s right.
•            Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals.
