The Company:Our client is a major operating company into the global oil and gas sector with projects in over 30 countries worldwide. To assist in the delivery of maintenance activity for North Sea assets we are now looking for a Maintenance Planner for a key role to be based in Aberdeen
The Role:The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day to day and longer term planning and scheduling for North Sea assets and delivery of fully optimised maintenance schedules
• Preparation of the maintenance schedules
• Resource loading of planned maintenance programs
• Undertake reviews to ensure efficiency of maintenance activities
• The identification and securing availability of vendors and ordering of materials required for maintenance activities
• Effective interface with internal teams to include Maintenance Engineer, Integrity Engineers and Offshore Teams
• Control of maintenance job plans including resources, services, materials, procedures and documents management
Essential Skills / Qualifications:• Previous experience within operational and engineering maintenance
• Significant oil and gas experience and knowledge of planning and scheduling processes and technical concepts
• Good communication skills
• Cooperative in groups and towards other disciplines and functions
• Ability to work and lead maintenance with cross-discipline
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft base products and Planning tools (Microsoft Project / Primavera) and must have an in depth knowledge of Maximo
• ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline (preferred)
