The Role:This role forms part of the quality team who assure raw materials used in each of their European Manufacturing Companies (EMC's)
Responsible for six paint suppliers and two pre-treatment suppliers operating in five EMC's, the successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of quality assurance, namely:
- Confirmation of design and pre-production activity for all new paint material and pre-treatment processes
- The auditing of new suppliers to confirm process capability and quality assurance
- Evaluation of new products
- Maintenance of QA systems and standards within EMCs, and paint suppliers
- Investigation of the root cause and implementation of countermeasures for all paint material quality problems raised by EMCs
- Raising standards
Essential Skills / Qualifications:Metalic Paint background and a core understanding of paint
Qualification or work related experience in Materials Science and Engineering or Chemistry
