Do you want to be a part of driving the transition?The Electrification, Maintenance and Modification (EMM) segment within Aker Solutions are specialists in managing, executing, and delivering small, medium and large complex projects from feasibility studies, frame agreements and EPCI. We are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:
Required activities to facilitate smooth and timely delivery of assigned Mechanical Engineering scopes to acceptable company standard. Progress reporting as required for assigned scopes. Compliance with policy, process, and regulations. Project awareness of risks and mitigating actions. Promotion of compliance with company Health & Safety standards. Lead / participate in meetings as required to deliver the contracted workscope. Category C scopes from define (FEED) phase through to execution and handover. Preparation of mechanical specifications, datasheets, etc. Mechanical package management. Perform all technical duties in a highly and competent and efficient manner.

RoleSkills:
Proven experience of offshore brownfield modification projects. Mechanical package responsible engineer experience (general, static, rotating) Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards. Conversant with appropriate technical software. Experience in client facing roles. +10 years experience.

Education:
Chartered/Professional Engineer with proven experience in relevant field Minimum degree qualified
