Project Control

Contract period: 02.06.2024 - 30.12.2025
Location: Kårstø


Main Tasks:
- Take charge of Project Control issues at the contract level within the project. 
- Proactively establish and maintain project control systems and procedures to ensure consistent cost, planning, and risk control aligned with governing documents. 
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the project adheres to established project control standards. 
- Manage the cost control aspects of the contract in collaboration with the Cost Control Lead and Planner Lead. 
- Support the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Control Basis and baseline updates. 
- Assist in weight and cost estimating related to the contract. 
- Conduct cost and progress control, including forecasting and analysis for the contract. 
- Oversee the contract during its duration, attending monthly meetings and providing necessary updates. 
- Handle project accounting and invoice processing. 
- Participate in the evaluation of contracts and contribute to yearly budget updates. 
- Ensure timely and accurate input for monthly report preparation. 
- Contribute to risk management associated with Project Control. 
- Support the Project Control Manager in maintaining comprehensive project documentation. 
- Establish project schedules according to the business case strategies, both for early phase and execution 
- Ensure that the progress is achieved in accordance with project targets
- Active follow-up of project plans, milestones and critical paths, including follow up of contractors’ plans
- Ensure consistency between contractors’ plans and overall project plans incl proactive follow-up of progress development

Qualifications: 
- Commercial mind-set; proactive, analytical and solution oriented 
- Organized, structured and hands-on and having passion for details 
- Good knowledge of SAP or Safran Project
- The Project Control role involves proactive management of project control systems and procedures, cost control, contract administration, reporting, and analysis. 
- Collaboration and continuous improvement are integral aspects of the role, contributing to effective cross-functional teamwork and organizational learning.
