Project Engineer - Test Planning - 22055

The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Planning for Tyres for all Cars summer/ winter changeovers and repairs/ replacements, inspections of fleet & Rolling road usages. - Manage all itenaries on database as created. - Manage all storage requirements of Tyres, Rigs and spares - Parts ordering for all shortages, replacements and repairs - Use of Microcat and JPEC online system for parts ordering - Prototype parts ordering via RPS and CORA's - Workshop- scheduling of Jobs and monitoring throughput - Manage Logistics of parts to vehicles to ensure jobs done on time - ECM Calibration flashing to update fleet - Immobilser sync and database TID retrival - ECM, Battery and Engine component changes conducted outside of workshop to assist throughput - Parts storage and stillage. - General all rounder in support capacity

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Microsoft Office suite (Word + Excel + Access ) Able to create and manipulate complex documents Good basic understanding of vehicle technology / maintenance / modification Able to set own goals and achieve them with effective time management Able to interact with customers in positive and focussed maner (good people skills) Physically fit

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in an automotive / vehicle / facilitating / troubleshooting environment Dealing in a customer focussed environment Some experience of logistics / parts ordering.
