Knowledge/Experience

  Job Specific Knowledge:
  • Understand the content for project reports daily, weekly, or monthly basis for actual progress.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • High level of customer focus
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to apply Earned Value Management techniques to measure/status and monitor performance. 
  • Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge approach to Project Management techniques
  • Proven ability to negotiate, mediate and delegate as well as lead a team or participate as a team member
  • Understand and apply the Quality Management System
Industry Specific Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in project reporting or scheduling control
  • Prior experience in mining construction project advantageous
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training (minimum):
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent
HSE Capability:
  • Have the experience and skills to set the standard and drive the rest of the team to excel in HSE
IT Skills:
  • Competent in relevant Microsoft Office software
People Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
Other:
  • Broad understanding of the mining and construction scene in Indonesia
  • Well-connected in the industry

Specific Accountabilities
 
  • Interface with project personnel to develop project report for schedule dates and analyse project schedule.
  • Understand and apply the HSE procedures to ensure safety of self and other workers in the workplace.
  • Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members, particularly in regard to cost, planning and document control matters.
  • Supervise any supporting roles in the project control area.
  • Liaise with Client for all reporting purposes.
  • Understand and apply the procedures forming the Quality Management System.
  • Responsible for implementing modifications to provide a cost-effective planning service within assigned budget constraints.
  • Demonstrate a high level of skill in reporting Mining, Minerals and Metals Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Management using computer-based planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Demonstrate major project planning skills.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Quality Assurance system.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
