QC Welding & NDT  Inspector
 
Contract period: 03.06.2024 - 30.04.2026
Location: Haugesund

Main Tasks:

- Review Client's technical documentation and requirements and ensure an adequate standard
- Monitor the design and construction for the welding and construction for all Structural and Piping, to ensure good interface with other disciplines
- Liaise and lead NDE verification along with Company Site Leads
- Member of Company Construction Site team and contribute to the group as the driving force within your discipline. For day-to-day business report to Construction lead on site
- Assist the leads or the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development and for interfacing/supporting another department
- Follow up Welding, QA/QC routines and procedures for the Construction/Completion phase and follow up by site inspections including pre-fabrication site and report all non-compliance, comment activities to QA-plan, audit, and verification plan
- Participate in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required, including any Sub-supplier ITPs
- Participate and/or conduct Audits onsite and vendors for both Quality and HSSE
- Participate for all site testing such as SIT (Site Integration Testing) for the progression of module verification
- Participate and/or support PED verification
- Participate in SJA, Risk Assessment, HAZID, HAZOP or other HSSEQ related reviews when required
- Assist the Electrical lead for ATEX compliance and verification onsite

Qualifications:
- IWI-C, CSWIP 3.2.2 or Equivalent
- Weld QC Coordinator or Equivalent
- IWE, or Equivalent such as Tech Weld I, HNC Weld Inspection
- Competence in NDE - RT, MPI, LPI and UT Interpretation within ISO 9712
- Preferential
- HSSE experience or Qualification, such as NEBOSH
- Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS, MIPS etc.
- Lead Auditing qualifications for both Quality and HSSE
- Knowledge and qualification within ATEX directive
