The Company:Our Client is a value-creation agency for the upstream sector of the oil & gas industry. The value created is in the form of higher hydrocarbon recoveries, greater production performance, improved efficacies of capital programs, and the delivery of superior environmental policies (such as environmentally friendly green practices). Our Clients typically include IOCs, NOCs, and Investment Firms from across the globe.
The Role:• Conduct reservoir simulation studies. This includes model construction, history matching, calibration and prediction phases. Present and participate in project technical reviews.
• Prepare progress reports on regular basis and final documentation upon completion of a study.
• Apply special simulation modeling techniques for complex reservoir studies according to the candidate's specialty.
• Propose and study various alternatives to develop new fields and/or optimize current production/injection strategies and has ability to analyze problems and recommend practical solutions.
• Evaluate and apply new modeling techniques, tools or technologies.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:These are MUST haves for our Client:
1.B.Sc. (PhD or Masters preferred) with >3.5 GPA from a notable Oil & Gas Institution (e.g., Stanford, UT, Texas A&M, Colorado School of Mines)
2.At least a minimum of 5 consecutive years of IOC (supermajor experience: ExxonMobil, Chevron, or Shell or BP)
3.A total of at least 20+ years of upstream industry experience.
