The Company:Our client is a key supplier to the nuclear and UK defence industry offering defence electronics systems to both the MOD and to major prime contractors and also directly to international military and commercial customers.
As a result of continued growth they are currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager to be based at their offices in the Dorset area.
The Role:The key focus of the Sales Manager role will be to promote, market and sell to prime contractors and customers within civil nuclear market to win orders which are profitable and in line with business aspirations.
It is expected that the Sales Manager will have an engineering background with significant experience gained within the nuclear energy market
The Sales Manager will have a broad range of experience within the military / civil nuclear market is essential as is contractual and commercial awareness, proven and demonstrable ability to bring in profitable business and sell systems and solutions
Good communication skills with ability to prepare and deliver technical and practical presentations
The Sales Manager will be required to have the ability to prepare / manage detailed technical and commercial proposals and negotiate at a high level
Full driving licence is essential, for the Sales Manager role and additionally the role demands frequent travel to existing and potential customers involving UK and overseas travel and a flexible approach to working hours
Essential Skills / Qualifications:HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Physics or equivalent relevant experience
Degree in relevant technical subject and / or a professional business qualification is desirable
