The Role:SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR - WESTERN AUSTRALIA - SITE BASED - FIFO - EXC $$ HOURLY RATE + BONUS - AUSTRALIAN WORKING VISA / RESIDENCY REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
Our projects team are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator for an immediate start, working on a world-class Mining Project. This role is responsible for providing support to administer all contracts on the Project site as well as the following (but not limited to).
Ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of Contract
Interface with Area Superintendents for all contractual matters and support services;
Monitor contractor for compliance with all contract deliverables
Managing change and recording and obtaining authorisation in accordance with Project Change Management Procedures.
Assist the Area Project Engineer to direct and control the work of contractors to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded.
Inspect the work under each contract daily and advise the contractor of any corrective actions needed as they occur.
Ensure contractors are working to the latest revisions of the Drawings and Specifications.
Assist maintaining documentation relating to work within the contract.
Conform to the requirements included in the Project Procedures Manual for communication with contractors and site administration issues.
Assist with maintaining detailed records of contractor’s progress against schedule
Ensure that all Quality requirements are being adhered to.
Daily and weekly reporting
Assist in the formal inspections and ‘punch lists’ to be prepared during the period leading to completion of individual contracts.
Regularly review the current delivery dates of all equipment and report immediately where dates are unsuitable for site progress or deliveries are falling behind schedule.
Assist in the preparation of enquiries for additional work, in particular the technical specification.
Coordinate vendor inspections of contractor’s work.
Assist in commissioning duties as and when required.
Assist with all queries, issues, changes etc. requested by contractors
Review proposed and actual changes to project implementation and contractor schedules and report any concerns.
Ideally, you will possess the flexibility to work on site on a roster covering 10 hour days. You will possess a minimum of 7 years demonstrative experience dealing with complex and challenging contracts and contractors. Essential Skills / Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce or engineering & previous experience on EPCM Projects
