The Role:The role
Currently looking for a Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer who shall have proven experience of large scale installation of control and instrumentation systems with associated sub-systems combined with experience of functioning in a management capacity.
As a Senior C&I Engineer your main duties will involve:
• You will work closely with a team of C&I engineers to ensure supervision and monitoring of all control system and instrumentation equipment installation works for a large thermal power plant.
• A team of field engineer’s and inspectors will be assigned to work under the senior engineers and their duties shall be assigned to them on a daily basis.
• The main EPC Contractor will be responsible for undertaking the work however the candidates shall be expected to ensure the work is carried out in line with the technical requirements and that good records are kept to demonstrate the same.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:As a Senior C&I Engineer you will have experience:
• You must be an articulate and capable engineer / manager, with good report writing skills and able to work under their own initiative and within a team.
• You’ll have a background in control and instrumentation systems related to Power Plant Projects of similar size (4 x 700MW). Experience in a contracting organisation or within a consultancy is equally desirable.
