The Company:Our Client is a Global Leading EPIC/EPC Contractor in the Oil & Gas industry. They are currently experiencing rapid growth and development on projects in many locations and so we are currently looking to appoint a Senior Cost Engineer into a staff position at their office in London.
The Role:The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
• Manage cost control processes
• Ensure any deviation from schedule is identified and propose corrective actions
• Liaison with Operator / Client representatives and ensure corporate cost and budget compliance
• Upon project award work up cost breakdown structure, establish the budgets and risk profile
• Review the procurement and accounting systems at Operator / Clients
• Review the work schedule and track project revenue and costs forecasts on a monthly basis
• Oversee cost control during delivery phase and complete any budget revisions as necessary
• Monitor subcontractor activities
• Assist the overall Project Manager in the compilation of monthly and project status reports and in general financial reporting
Essential Skills / Qualifications:• Significant offshore Oil & Gas experience to include offshore construction
• Familiarity with industry cost control software to include SAP
• Degree Educated (preferred)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
