Our client is currently seeking a self-starting and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a key part in brownfield projects including upgrades to wells, refineries and plants.

Our client is currently seeking a self-starting and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a key part in brownfield projects including upgrades to wells, refineries and plants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs for projects won and for proposals
- Prepare electrical documentation including drawings and reports, diagrams, load and equipment lists
- Provide electrical input into detailed scopes of work
- Analyse vendor and subcontractor designs and advise on suitability and compliance
- Consult with vendor teams and internal teams regarding project schedules
- Provide technical advice regarding electrical equipment and procurement
- Provide support during construction / implementation phase
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, along with CPEng and RPEQ
- Experience in an engineering services company
- Electrical Engineering experience in power and distribution and/or oil and gas
- Hazardous areas experience would be a strong nice to have
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
