The Role:The Senior Engineer for Interiors is responsible for managing a team of engineers in the delivery of specific components / systems whilst making sure that Business objectives and budget targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the delivery of components / systems to the defined Product Design Specification or Task Description
- Ability to provide direction for the analytical and systematic approach to create optimal solutions to problems
- Ability to manage a team and prioritise tasks
- Accountable for developing and maintaining specialist technical and business knowledge/capability
- Excellent time management and self-organisational skills
- Budget management.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:- Degree in appropriate engineering discipline. HNC will be considered with relevant industry experience
- Chartered Engineer status would be highly preferred.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:- Demonstrable experience working as a Product Engineer within the interior trim area.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience.
