The Company:Our client is a major engineering contractor currently providing EPC | PMC project services into a range of sectors to include oil and gas, nuclear and petrochemicals. Following a recent re-organisation we are now looking to appoint a Senior Risk Specialist to be based at the headquarters in the UK to oversee project controls activities across a range of offices globally.
The Role:The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
• Manage the project risk processes including risk
• Identification, schedule risk analysis and cost risk analysis.
• Implementation of project risk procedures and reporting of risk analysis results.
• Maintain and develop project risk registers and takes a lead role in the development of project risk assessments,
• Creates and reviews probabilistic models using Pertmaster and Crystal Ball to assess schedule and cost variability / sensitivity to risk events.
• Interprets risk analysis outputs and compiles reports / presentation material to provide a clear assessment of project risk to project teams and senior management.
• Supports the projects teams through a regular analysis process during project set up and then on through quarterly reporting
Essential Skills / Qualifications:We are keen to receive application for this post from candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Degree educated
• Ability and familiarity with Pertmaster and/or Crystal Ball
• Significant risk assessment and risk reporting experience working for an operator or major EPC within the oil and gas sector
