The Company:Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The Role:Position Description:
- Aerodynamics PAT Leader
Skills Required:
- Proven integration abilities ref. the management of CoCs, attributes etc cross-disciplines to yield the desired Aero outcome.
- T&D, aero wind tunnel and proving ground experience beneficial to role.
- Also a working knowledge of the company, workshops, departments and processes is advantageous to this role.
- Proven planning delivery with requirements & conflicts management vital to role.
- Technical ability with respect to aerodynamics, cooling airflow, water & dirt management and fume ingress are important.
Skills Preferred:
- The ability to present at all levels within the company without detailed mentoring along with a good team-working approach to tasks.
- Experience in aero wind tunnels and proving grounds test experience advantageous.
- The ability to analyse and condense large amounts of test data.
Experience Required:
- Experience in a role with proven Attribute delivery.
- T&D & CAE experience/interpretataion important.
- Other Attribute delivery experience will be considered.
Experience Preferred:
- Interpretation of CAE outputs to drive resolution
Education Required:
- Ideally degree qualified in a suitable discipline but previous experience is core to this role
