NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Structural Integrity Engineer to work on their big project based in Montigny Le Bretonneux.

The position will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12 month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

DESCRIPTION:
The activity of this service will focus on:
  • Establish acceptance criteria for weld flaws in rigid pipelines through analytical calculations.
  • Conduct studies using the finite element method on complex geometries.
  • Draft methodology and calculation reports.
  • Ensure proper interface between ECA and other disciplines.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To carry out this service, the Incumbent must provide the skills described below:
  • Fracture mechanics
  • CrackWise
  • Abaqus

Start date: 01/06/2024
Duration of benefits: 12 MONTHS
