The Company:Our client is specialists within the Defence, Power, Nuclear, Transport, Aerospace and Security. We are looking for a Test Engineer to work within their Nuclear Division
The role for the Test Engineers is as followed; :-
The Role:Significant previous experience of production testing within the defence / aerospace industry is desirable as is ATE and / or transformer testing experience
• Competent user of electro-mechanical test equipment together with the ability to use automatic test equipment
• Effective communicator who is self motivated, with the ability to multi task and work unsupervised while contributing to broadening the capability and experience of the Test Department
• Organised and methodical with good attention to detail
• A positive team player with the confidence and ability to adapt to changing goals and priorities
• A finisher with a ‘can do’ attitude who works well under pressure
• Focused, proactive, adaptable, approachable and committed
• The role is not physically demanding although some lifting of equipment will be required
• It may be necessary to occasionally work extended hours or undertake site work for which overnight stays may be required, therefore a flexible attitude and approach is important
• Whilst digital experience is desired, experience with analogue based testing is essential.
• Competent user of electro-mechanical test equipment together with the ability to use automatic test equipment
• Demonstrable ability to interpret and understand information contained within electrical and mechanical manufacturing documentation such as drawings, bills of materials and production test specifications
• Confident user of Microsoft Office (principally Excel)
• Effective communicator who is self motivated, with the ability to multi task and work unsupervised while contributing to broadening the capability and experience of the Test Department
• Organised and methodical with good attention to detail
