Recruitment solutions provider Fircroft has successfully re-launched its recruitment management software, retaining complete control over its current and future capabilities by developing it all entirely in-house.
Charged with the task of writing the software was IT Support Developer, Mike Parkinson, who explains the practical benefits of having complete ownership of our system:
“Having brought this entirely in-house, it provides us with complete control over the development of the recruitment management system. We’re now able to implement updates much more quickly, and can also vastly reduce the time required to develop bespoke enhancements.”
After 6 months of development and testing, the company was able to re-launch its system with a number of improvements incorporated from the outset, aimed at minimising administrative requirements of the company’s recruitment personnel. News of the re-launch was commented upon by Group Operations Manager Ian Goddard, who said:
“Some of the efficiencies made so far will help to free up time for us to concentrate on our business of sourcing candidates. Being able to change how we use our systems means our clients and contractors will reap the benefits.
