The economy in Alaska remains in close relation to the oil and gas sector. The industry supports about one third of all jobs in the state and the Alaska Permanent Fund allocates an annual share of the oil revenue to everyone who is eligible. It is home to the largest oil field in North America – Prudhoe Bay – and its waters are said to contain more than 30% of the country’s offshore resources. With the industry playing such an integral role in the area there is a real variety to the types of jobs we’re able to offer, including LNG Engineers, Geophysicists and Construction Supervisors. Much of the industry is focused on the North Slope region and most roles available are on a contractor basis.
