Store your car in a purpose-built lair by Aston Martin

So you’ve just bought an Aston Martin.

Once you have the car, you need the home to go with it

As you casually lower yourself into the driver’s seat in your finest tuxedo, your improbably beautiful partner in alluringly impractical evening-wear slides in to the passenger side, greeting you with a sly smile and a raised eyebrow. You enjoy the comforting roar of the engine as the car effortlessly accelerates to a smooth cruising speed on the clear roads.

“I’ve made it,” you think to yourself, though outwardly you allow nothing more than a serene look of satisfaction to cross your face. Nothing needs to be said out loud, the car itself represents everything you need to say. This is who you are now. Calm. Dignified. Elite.

Finally a service that puts your car at the centre of your house design

But as you pull this magnificent vehicle into your driveway you realise something’s wrong. Dragging open the rusted garage door, your eyes fall on the old lawnmower sitting in the corner, the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the bicycle hanging at a crooked angle from two old nails stuck in the dirty brick wall. No, this will not do at all.

Finally luxury automotive brand Aston Martin have introduced a solution for this typical problem. As part of their “Q by Aston Martin” personalisation service, the company will now provide “Automotive Galleries and Lairs” - a bespoke, luxury garage to house your car in the surroundings it deserves.

“Imagine a home or luxury retreat built around your car,” says Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer.

“Picture creating the ultimate space to showcase your own automotive works of art. This is now achievable with this new offering.”

In fact the service can actually extend beyond the garage, with the option to design everything up to an entire luxury lair home.

The Automotive Galleries and Lairs service matches up clients with Aston Martin’s Design Team and independent architects to create the bespoke spaces. Obermoser arch-omo architecture has already produced a series of concepts for everything from luxury art galleries to subterranean ocean-themed hideaways.

Meanwhile Reichman’s team has already produced interior design work for Miami’s 66 storey “Aston Martin Residences”, and the “House of Aston Martin Aoyama” - the company’s first global brand centre in Tokyo.

“For the car enthusiast the garage is as important as the rest of the house,” Reichman said.

“A bespoke auto gallery designed by Aston Martin that either focuses on showing off the car or is part of a larger, integrated entertainment space with simulators and such like, takes Aston Martin ownership to the next level.”

"Automotive Galleries can even be designed to fit the era if a customer has a heritage car. We are able to cover every requirement, whether it is to display single cars as pieces of automotive art or a full collection of cars in a private museum.

"These spaces provide an opportunity for people to create their own unique world where they can share their passion for cars with their guests. The opportunities are endless."
