Video of the week: How have SpaceX prepared for a rocket launch emergency?

Ahead of the historic launch to be conducted by NASA and SpaceX on Wednesday, we at EngineeringPro have been looking at the complicated engineering processes that need to be undertaken to send a crew to space. Every aspect needs to be considered, and every potential problem needs to be resolved before it occurs. In this video, SpaceX conduct a successful (unmanned) test of what would happen in the event of an emergency during launch, and how the crew will safely escape. While everyone hopes that these protocols are never needed, it's fascinating to see how they play out.
