Sales Development Centre

Fircroft’s Sales Development Centre acts as a central hub for business development support, to Sales and Recruitment teams globally. The department proactively combines research, news and sales leads to identify target companies and technical industries, driving growth in every region. You will have the opportunity to learn from, network and engage with leaders in the recruitment industry, while gaining extensive knowledge of our industries and clients.

Recruitment

Working with a number of global clients across multiple sectors you will build relationships in order to gain a better understanding of both the clients and contractors recruitment needs. You will work closely with your mentors to attract candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking and headhunting. You will act as the vital link between clients and candidates.

Portfolio Management Office

Portfolio Management Office, this function enables change and manages projects of all kinds. You will be guided by our experienced change practitioners from a wide variety of business sectors and backgrounds.

IT

2018 will be the first year the IT department have been involved in the Internship programme. The role will see you gain a wide range of experience from dealing with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support issues to working on IT projects. You will deal with 3rd party suppliers/vendors, work with a wide-range of technologies and get involved in the management of our server estate, user devices and global networks.

Procurement

Procurement, Supply Chain and Facilities, Exposure to first hand strategic commercial decisions, client engagements and a valuable insight into the upkeep and maintenance of a commercial building.

Finance & Service Centre

Our finance department takes responsibility for organising all financial and accounting affairs. This includes the preparation and presentation of appropriate accounts, and the provision of financial information for our Board, Directors and Shareholders. During your placement you will be exposed to several areas within the Finance team looking at management accounts, cash flow forecasting, P&L and much more. The Service Centre was set up within Fircroft in 2013 and consists of three main functions: The Improvement Centre, Customer Services and Service Delivery. Its primary objective is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of contractor engagement from assignment creation through to payment, invoicing through to cash collection and the provision of management information for both internal and external customers.
