What is the VCU?
The VCU is a client-recognised health and safety standard that applies to agencies operating from within a number of different European countries. The standard focuses on contractor health and safety awareness. It was set up to help agencies better understand contractor HSE requirements while ensuring compliance to HSE legislation and responsibilities in the ‘client–temporary employment agency–temporary employee’ relationship.
