We are currently looking for a Accounts Payable Manager to be based from our Head Office in Warrington.

This is a vital role within the finance team and deals with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead an accounts payable team to deliver an efficient and effective financial processing to ensure high service levels are achieved with strong financial controls in place.

Responsibilities
* Full ownership of the UK Purchase Ledger and payment functions in multiple currencies, as well as eight overseas entities.
* Incorporation of overseas entities into the centralized UK Accounts Payable function as and when opportunities arise.
* Responsible for invoice coding and control.
* Responsible for two direct reports, to include the training/coaching of an Apprentice.
* Coordinate month end and weekly payment runs - multiple payrolls.
* Building relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service.
* Control Fircroft company credit cards, to include the expenses booking process and payments in accordance with Fircroft policies.
* Review supplier statement reconciliations and manage queries.
* Identify missing costs for accruals booking.
* Maintain accurate aged creditors listing.
* Play key role in setting and driving the group best practice for AP and P2P process.
* Support systems improvement projects as key Subject Matter Expert - e.g. new staff expenses system.
* Compliance with the Duty to Report on Payment Practices and Performance, ensuring Fircroft meets it's twice yearly submission deadlines.
* Group Finance teamwork (lead and participate in monthly meeting)
* Responsible for the support, promotion, monitoring and compliance with all Fircroft and client HSE obligations, rules and requirements.

Key Attributes and Experience
* Management/supervisory experience.
* Communication - Strong interpersonal skills as appropriate to manage locally and internationally based relationships. Communication to non- finance personnel/managerial level.
* Accounting/finance background preferable- reconciliation and analysis skills.
* Ability to work independently, and mindful of group reporting deadlines.
* Experience of systems migration would be advantageous.
