The Role:
The purpose of this role is to lead the Billing Services team in delivering right first time invoice generation and distribution to clients globally, in a busy, fast paced Service Centre environment.

The successful candidate will provide management support to lead, develop and co-ordinate the team to successfully deliver high quality and accurate invoices at all times, within set SLA's. Whilst driving a culture of excellence across the team and promoting a positive, can do work environment, with open and honest communication.

Job role duties

* Overall management responsibility for the Billing Services team, consisting of 9 team members and 4 areas (Invoicing, Client Systems, Recharges and Banking Payments). This will include:
o Annual performance reviews
o Regular one to one meetings
o Desk side coaching
o Team meetings
o Daily team huddles
o Development and training plans as appropriate (including succession planning)

* Responsible for managing the Fircroft Group's global invoice generation of circa £35-40 million per month. This will include over 50 individual payrolls for tens of thousands of timesheets and expenses, with different invoicing cycles (E.g.: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly bi-monthly and adhoc)
* Responsible for managing the accurate delivery of over 800 International payments to contractors per month. Across 8 different banks and 15 unique banking processes.
* Responsible for managing over 40 client systems to ensure accurate submission of invoices to clients on a monthly basis.
* Managing the credit note policy, to ensure all credit notes raised are recorded and reported to the bank accurately.
* Successfully ensure delivery of all team KPIs - monitoring those consistently not being met, to drive improvements where necessary, in order contribute towards reducing the Service Centre's order to cash time frame.
* Ensure full cross training is completed across all team members for all the team workload.
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement by analysing the root cause of issues to prevent re occurrence and ensure the team remain under the agreed monthly target, in order to contribute to the overall monthly Service Centre target.
* To lead, develop and co-ordinate the team in being pro-active in prioritisation and distribution of workload across the whole team, whilst sometimes supporting the team during busy periods.
* Regular reporting of team activities and performance to the UK Service Centre Manager and wider management team and working to build prioritised work plans and resource plans as appropriate.
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of the team's procedures and processes, through understanding customer needs (both internal and external) and sharing best practices.
* To encourage positivity on new initiatives that the Service Centre Management teams and wider business want to put in place.
* Support with any other projects or ad hoc requirements as requested by the UK Service Centre Manager and wider business

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Educated to degree standard or equivalent preferred
Experience managing teams in a fast-paced Service Centre environment
Experience in resolving queries and client issues
Accounts, Invoicing or payroll experience would be an advantage
