We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Houston.


The main focus of your role will be to engage with prospective clients and where required utilize the support of the industry sector experts to further discussions.


You will report directly into the Regional Business Development Director and also work under the guidance and direction of Fircroft Global International Sales Leadership, within the context of the regional business plan, to which you will contribute.

Key responsibilities include:


-To increase the number of active Fircroft Clients (and contractors) and through this increasing gross profit
-Understand and sell the full suite of services, capability and marketing offerings of the Fircroft Group, including where necessary the expertise of the relevant senior people and relevant SME as required (ICT/Mining/Automotive/Oil & Gas etc).
-Demonstrate inspirational and proactive sales leadership and lead by example, both within region and across the Fircroft Group
-Own and develop new clients within an allocated market sector
-Map sector markets building full visibility of client strategy, stakeholder maps and buying rationale
-Qualify Clients to establish whether Fircroft are prepared to support the business opportunity
-The quality and accuracy of a client contact and opportunity data is paramount and will need to be to be maintained within Fircroft's CRM system.

Education/Knowledge/Qualifications


-Business relevant degree level qualification or experiential equivalent
-5 years' experience in corporate level recruitment contract/ framework agreement sales, including a demonstrable track record of successfully attracting and signing new clients
-Established track record in the specialist recruitment solution environment and selling significant £10M plus contracts
-Proven understanding of the markets in which Fircroft operates
-Demonstrable experience sales in the markets in which we operate is essential
-Demonstrable sales experience in other sectors outside the markets we operate (desirable but not essential)
-A history of interaction with senior execs in our chosen (and other) market sectors
-Exposure to global/ multinational clients
-Designing complex human capital solutions for clients, demonstrating financial, process and strategic benefits
-Demonstrable experience of selling both contingent worker and experienced (permanent) hire solutions
-Varied client experience selling to FTSE 250 clients and International Blue Chips
