The Role:
You will report to the Regional Director and also work under the guidance and direction of Fircroft Global Sales Leadership, within the context of the regional business plan, to which you will contribute. You will work closely with in-region Operations, Commercial Support, and the Business Manager to create systematic sales strategies, develop a robust pipeline and increase market share for Fircroft by securing new profitable business. The primary focus of the Business Development Manager role will be engaging with senior C-Suite and VP level client contacts, for the purpose of securing profitable new clients - and transition them to the care and management of the Business Manager.

Duties:
* Increase the number of active Fircroft Clients (and contractors) and through this increasing gross profit
* Understand and sell the full suite of services, capability and marketing offerings of the Fircroft Group
* Demonstrating inspirational and proactive sales leadership and leading by example, both within region and across the Fircroft Group
* Own and develop new clients within an allocated market sector
* Map sector markets building full visibility of client strategy, stakeholder maps and buying rationale
* The quality and accuracy of client contact and opportunity data to be maintained within Fircroft's CRM system and to regularly report activity and progress to the Regional Director via CRM reports
* Monitoring of markets and competitors and provide intelligence on client needs and competitor positions - both to Regional and Corporate Leadership
* Collaborate with peers promoting lead generation to drive the sales pipeline
* Provide content and actively own and/or support the production of group-wide bids and tenders
* Design, build and deliver client-focused presentations with a view to securing them as a client
* Bring to bear existing contacts and relationships developed prior to employment with Fircroft to introduce new clients
* Actively seek out new potential-client contacts through a wide range of means, including networking and cold approaches
* Act as a trusted advisor by consulting with key client decision makers to understand their business critical issues and strategic objectives, and position Fircroft as a solution provider
* Shape opportunities and contracts with potential new clients to the point of signing - working at peer-to-peer level with Operations Manager and Commercial Finance Manager to ensure all new business is (a) commercially viable and (b) serviceable.
* Transfer Fircroft opportunities that are identified as being most suitable to be pursued by Corporate teams (subject matter experts) and provide ongoing support to the centrally-run Sales process
* Knowledge share amongst the global Fircroft community with other company functions necessary to aid business development

Compliance is an integral part of the day to day duties of all functions and within every role across the Group. The compliance department will provide full visibility by way of the Compliance Framework to identify and assign responsibility/accountability to all functions, roles activities and tasks designed to satisfy the requirement of the function or role to meet the obligations as a business to provide a fully compliant service to our clients
* Ensuring Fircroft does not make client/ contractual commitments that:
o cannot be complied with
o are not profitable
o cannot be delivered
o do not match with Fircroft policies
* You will need to seek advice from consulting Fircroft Compliance Professionals on items where there is any doubt on any matter related to Compliance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Business relevant degree level qualification or experiential equivalent
* 5 years' experience in corporate level recruitment contract/ framework agreement sales, including a demonstrable track record of successfully attracting and signing new clients
* Established track record in the specialist recruitment solution environment and selling significant £10M plus contracts
* Proven understanding of the markets in which Fircroft operates
* Demonstrable experience sales in the markets in which we operate is essential
* Demonstrable sales experience in other sectors outside the markets we operate (desirable but not essential)
* A history of interaction with senior execs in our chosen (and other) market sectors
* Exposure to global/ multinational clients
* Designing complex human capital solutions for clients, demonstrating financial, process and strategic benefits
