We are currently looking for a QHSSE Advisor to be based from our Warrington Head Office.

The QHSSE Advisor will be responsible for the advising/coordination of the Fircroft Group on UK/Country HSE contractual & legal requirements and for ensuring applicable UK/Country specific HSSE and Quality policies are created, communicated and effectively implemented

Responsibilities:

* Client Contractual HSSE Reviews
* Document Control (SharePoint system set up and management)
* Emergency Response Plans (ERP)
* Monitoring and auditing of UK and overseas office Quality and HSE related tasks including:
-Attendance and collation of data for QHSSE Review Meetings
-Client HSE Pre-qualification
-Recording, monitoring and reporting of Fircroft staff Accident And incidents
-Where contractual required recording of contractors accident and incident statistics -Maintaining all UK office HSSE risk assessment registers
-Coordinate monthly safety walks and ensuring forms are completed and filed correctly
-Accident & incident investigations and reporting to Line Mangers, HR department and Quality Systems Manager
-Maintaining QHSSE notice board in the Warrington office
* Assist in the preparation for internal and external Client HSSE , ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 audits
* Ensure office maintains adequate number of qualified first aiders and fire wardens
* Creating, updating and maintaining Quality and HSSE specific policies


Key Attributes and Experience

* Minimum IOSH Managing safely Certificate
* Ideally NEBOSH Qualified or working towards NEBOSH certification
* Good understanding of applicable UK HSE legislation
* Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
* Internal Auditor qualifications or experience of Safety, Quality and Environmental audits desirable
* Excellent administration and organisational skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Highly self-motivated
* Able to liaise, communicate and co-ordinate activities with Fircroft personnel and external organisations
* Experience of working across multiple sites preferable

Experience of the below systems would be advantageous:
* SharePoint
* Microsoft Excel - i.e. updating of audit schedules and corrective action plans etc
* Microsoft Word - i.e. procedural amendments and creation of new procedures
* Microsoft Visio - Flow charting software
* Webinar software

Training will be provided in the following areas:
* Internal Audits including safety Walks
* Introduction Client Pre-Qualification Websites
* Microsoft Visio Flow Chart Training
* RMS (internal database) - auditing of records
* Fircroft Connect (company intranet)
