The Role:
Reward Specialist

We are currently looking for a HR Reward Specialist to join our team based at our head office in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing reward solutions globally to support the business achieve its long-term business strategy and oversee all aspects of Reward.


* Support the Group HR Director in creating a global reward strategy
* Act as a centre of excellence providing expert advice on all reward principles.
* Conduct a review of all Global benefits, making recommendations for a competitive benefits programme and supporting the delivery into the business.
* Conduct salary benchmarking for new and existing roles
* Create and deliver a reward cycle including pay reviews, gender pay, salary surveys and benchmarking.
* Provide advice and guidance and respond to reward queries from employees, managers and HR colleagues.
* Act as the expert of reward and disseminate this knowledge across the HR Team.
* Have a good understanding of the market and our competitors.
* Identify and design new reward initiatives and programmes.
* Understand and manage with the local HRBP's all benefits programmes and third-party supplier relationships (healthcare, Life Assurance etc) across the Group whilst ensuring these are maintained and are the best value for money.

Experience & Key Attributes

* A strong reward background; ideally with experience of creating bonus structures, grading, benchmarking and pay reviews
* Problem solving skills
* Comfortable with implementing change
* Willing to challenge the status quo
* Strong influencing skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Has acted as a centre of excellence that has successful interwoven into the wider HR Team
* Commercial awareness with an understanding of the drivers of business performance
* Experience of managing projects
* Strong stakeholder engagement, management and negotiation
* Has impact, gravitas and credibility with colleagues and leaders at all levels
* Open, practical and pragmatic
* Comfortable operating with ambiguity
* Strong analytical skills, and advanced excel capability, with experience of interpreting data into relevant and actionable insight
* Ability to translate data into meaningful, clear and simple information
* An understanding of people data and HR systems
