The Role:
This position is part of the UK Service Team that provides national and international support for Mirion and legacy companies. As well as UK activities to provide field service to our radiation monitors, radiation tolerant cameras and high temperature cameras, this position will involve global travel to support our existing and new installations in developed and emerging countries.

Please note this is a field role where you will be supporting our Farnborough and Didcot offices when you are not home-based. You must be flexible to commute to these sites and be willing to travel globally for the role when required.

Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, maintenance and repair of gamma and alpha spectroscopy systems, alpha/beta air monitors, body monitors, drum monitors, camera systems and other equipment.
* Maintain accurate records where necessary to comply with the requirements of the company's QA registration.
* Liaise at all levels and promote the company's Service and Support activities
* Extensive overnight stays on customer visits in the UK and abroad.

Parallel Responsibilities:
* On-site delivery of small bespoke projects/contracts.
* Ensuring site visit forms and timesheets are completed and submitted promptly.
* Assist customers with technical & contractual queries.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Electronics HNC or equivalent
* Recognised Electronics Apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Full UK driving licence, held for at least 3 years.
* Computer literate with experience using MS Office.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Customer satisfaction and result oriented.
* Good awareness of the Nuclear Industry an advantage.
* Previous experience of installed industrial CCTV systems an advantage.
* High professional integrity with a strong team focus.
* Skilled in decision-making and problem solving.
* Excellent inter-personal, communication skills.
* Strong awareness of Safety, Quality Assurance, Health, Security & Environmental requirements in the nuclear and related industries.
