The Role:
To ensure consistent & acceptable product and system quality though stringent testing. To support customer repairs, installation & commissioning activities.
Setup, test & calibration of the company's products and systems, as well as site installation, commissioning and repairs

* Set up, testing & calibration of PC controlled High Temperature, Radiation tolerant and general surveillance camera products and systems and associated sub-assemblies, to company standards, specifications and test procedures.
* Occasional site visits in the UK and overseas to install, commission service and repairs camera systems are required.
* To ensure work carried out in the department is accurate and of the highest quality.
* To resolve day-to-day issues arising during testing within the department.
* Confirm and submit accurate timesheets for work carried out on a weekly basis.
* Cross-checking of work and signing of job sheets to allow transfer of products to another department.
* Liaison with key stakeholders.

Our Client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of instrumentation for a diverse range of applications in the nuclear industry.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* In-depth knowledge of both digital and analogue television video systems as well as general electronic principles.
* Qualified to minimum HNC level preferably in an electronic engineering discipline (ONC qualified candidate with suitable industry experience will be considered).
* Minimum 5 years' industry experience of both analogue and digital television and video testing techniques.
* Strong fault finding and circuit analysis skills.
* Ability to operate various types of test equipment.
* PC literate (Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2016)
* Electrical safety testing (PAT) of products.
* Good communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to prioritise work in an often-busy workplace.
* Experience of site working experience (preferably in high temperature and/or nuclear facilities)
* Available to travel both within the UK and internationally.
