The Role:
12 month contract opportunity for an experienced document controller/administrator at the Winfrith Nuclear site in Dorset.

Applicants don't require nuclear experience but should have had some exposure to engineering. Experience in document control is essential. Rate is £14.64 PAYE including holidays.

Core responsibilities:

* To manage all document control and administration for the project
* Ensure compliance with all management processes and procedures.
* Ensure that the health and safety file is maintained in a timely and accurate fashion, and assist the quality department in the management of LTR documentation.
* Manage the site reception.
* Maintain and manage the site documentation and transfer relevant documents onto the online document management system held at head office as required.

In discharging these responsibilities they are responsible for:
* Set Up, process and manage data, including the compilation and management of LTR packs, Warranties, Permits, As Built Drawings and other Quality documents and drawings.
* Updating spreadsheets within Excel, including managing and maintaining Action Trackers.
* Timely disseminating information to relevant stake holders and Sub contractors.
* Assisting the on-site Works Administration Centre (EHS) in processing Safe Systems of Work, Permits, Client authorisation requests and delivery notes etc.
* Responsibility for the Safe and Secure storage of documentation and drawings, ensuring correct resources are in place to enable this.
* Updating in-house database systems.
* Booking meeting rooms and conference facilities.
* Ordering and maintaining stationary / general office supplies.
* Photocopying and printing various documents often on behalf of site management staff.
* Assisting with meetings and updating minutes.
* Arrange and co-ordinate any necessary training for the site team.
* Assisting in keeping the site office clean and tidy to maintain high standards and professionalism.

The Company:
Our client has been established for over 20 years locally and is focused on delivering design solutions to the nuclear industry, specialising in the design of mechanical handling plant and equipment, the design and installation of plant control systems and the provision of support to plant safety reviews.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* NVQ Business Administration as a minimum.
* Engineering experience.
* Document Control experience .
* Highly PC Literate - Microsoft office, Timesheets, Expenses, Purchasing.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* 5 years' experience in a site based engineering role.
* Document Control experience desirable.
