The Role:
To provide Installation, Commissioning and After Sales service for a range of safety systems for the construction and rail industry

* Field Service engineer home based, self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
* Able to work under his/her own initiative with minimal or no supervision.
* Produce accurate records of all work carried out and submit to head office weekly
* Willing to travel extensively in the UK and on occasions overseas
* Support a breakdown service for all products and react to system failures in a timely manor
* Carry out routine maintenance and inspection on customers equipment through the UK
* Be prepared to spend nights away from home when required
* Be able to work outdoors regardless of the weather and harsh conditions that may on occasions be experienced on a construction site.
* Ensure all company health and safety policies are observed
* Observe Cleanliness and discipline always including your assigned company vehicle
* Ensure all tool and parts supplied are managed and accounted for on a weekly bases
* Sales / After Sales support.
* Carry out Warranty repairs in line with the company policy

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Heavy equipment mechanic with experience of hydraulic and electrical systems
* Ability to effectively manage his/her own work schedules as issued by head office daily
* Be from a mechanical background with knowledge of heavy equipment
* Qualified heavy equipment mechanic electrical engineer
* UK driving licence.
