The Role:
As HR Advisor you will work in partnership with the business to provide specialist support for key internal clients across multiple sites. Based in Prahova, you will be part of the company's Corporate team which is based in Aberdeen. Your knowledge of manufacturing / engineering together with your ability to develop effective working relationships, influence and coach managers will act as a strong foundation in this role to be able to deliver best practice and share responsibility for the goals and targets delivery. With the support of the companies Centres of Excellence you will identify and prepare plans for key employees and high potential employees, rotating best talents across different functions in the business.

As HR Advisor you will support the HR Country Manager to equip key stakeholders with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in line with their people plans e.g. performance management, absence management, career management and provide project management support and HR expertise to the business with specific related projects. By providing both transformational advice and transactional support (contract generation, disciplinary hearings, and creation of reports) you will improve cost and efficiency, clarify accountabilities and empower delivery of great customer service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide day-to-day HR employee relations support and act as first point of contact for all HR queries
* Work closely with HR colleagues across the business to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
* Carry out activities including overseeing the disciplinary process, conducting investigations, creating various reports, employment contracts - providing support for concluding and/or termination, addendums and decisions related to the employment contracts
* Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements
* Manage staff relationships, promptly respond to queries and manage expectations
* Administrate of personnel files of employees - updating and maintaining HRIS system (HCM)
* Report the employment contracts and any changes of them in Revisal software ( Romanian electronic file for employees connected to Romania Labour Chamber data base)
* With the support of Talent Acquisitions, issue job descriptions and update job descriptions based on information provided by management or other departments
* Update internal regulation and acknowledge its content to the employees
* Follow employee performance evaluation according to the plan established by the company
* Represent the company in front of labour authorities for any related HR issues as required by the management
* Ensure that the leaves schedule for the next year to be done according to internal regulation stipulations
* Manage the entire HR spectrum from the implementation of HR initiatives to the securing of the daily business workflows
* Key driver for the implementation, as well as evaluation and further development of the HR processes, instruments and systems
* Control the on boarding process of new employees from the contract signature until the end of the probationary period
* Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
* Support the HR Country Manager with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
* Support the HR Country Manager on HR projects and initiatives
* Work in collaboration with the Centres of Expertise across the business
* Help to drive organisational performance by driving core business objectives
* Implement and maintain personnel procedures, policies and contract agreements which conform to the standards and local law and legislation
* Keep regular management information on budget and overall performance
* Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development
* Intercompany travel as and when required
* Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager and/or legislation requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications Experience:
*Working knowledge of a manufacturing environment
*Working knowledge of Trade Unions
*Working knowledge of HR methods within an international company
*Management Development
*Prince2 / Project Management
*Continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma
*Retail, Engineering, FMCG or manufacturing industry experience
*Knowledge of works constitution act
*Knowledge of social security law/ payroll
*Fluent in both written and spoken business English and Romanian
* In depth knowledge of Romanian employment law

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Skills, training or special knowledge

*Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
*Working knowledge of HRIS Systems
