The Role:
Our client designs and manufactures exiting subsea technology ranging from new and innovative subsea water treatment technology, flexible pipes and equipment for subsea cooling, pigging and storage for the international oil and gas industry. We leverage superior engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology to establish long-term partnerships with global contractors and energy companies.

As the HSE Manager in Denmark you work from the Kalundborg facility for the majority of your time, and you will lead our Capture Zero strategy as we strive to achieve the goal of zero incidents. As the HSE Manager you will work closely with our SPS Business Units in Denmark and collaborate with our sites to champion and drive a positive HSE culture and achieve world class HSE results. You will be responsible for HSE communications for both internal and external stakeholders.

The role is influencing, partnering with and supporting the SPS Management team and Site Managers with professional Health, Safety and Environmental advice. In collaboration with the global HSE teams, managers and employees locally, you will drive and improve a positive HSE culture - providing HSE advice, tools and services at all levels of the organisation and ensuring compliance to internal procedures, legislation, standards, customer requirements and other requirements across the sites in Denmark.

You are responsible for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive HSE management system based upon ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001) and recognized industry best practice, you will drive operational improvements to improve efficiency, sustainability and integrate a world class HSE culture to achieve Zero incidents and continuously improve our Health and Environmental performance in our business.

You are responsible for planning and performing audits, inspections and training internally and externally and you will drive, implement and improve our HSE strategy to reach our goals.

You will lead a competent motivated HSE department and have the ability to build confidence, influence and inspire both internal and external stakeholders with a collaborative approach alongside a driven desire to improve. You will form an integral part of the HSE structure across Europe and CIS and a vital part of the SPS Management team at Kalundborg.

Qualifications:
*BSc/MSc in Health & Safety /Environmental related discipline
*Auditor/ Lead auditor certification
*Relevant management and leadership education
*Experience in leading and developing a HSE team
*Experience with understanding customer contracts and the contractual requirements for HSE
*Experience in risk & opportunity management, incident investigation, root cause analysis, improvements/lessons learned and supplier audits.
*Industry relevant experience, preferably from the offshore, energy or subsea industry, engineering or manufacturing.
*Solid experience, both theoretical and practical in all or some of our certified standards: ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001
* Thorough knowledge of HSE risks and legislation
* Knowledge about life-cycle Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems
* Proficient in Danish, written and spoken language
* Proficient in business English written and spoken language
* Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Solid data analysis and communication skills
