The Role:
To manage, maintain and develop a service orientated and quality driven end to end payroll service to Norway employee base. The role will directly manage a dedicated payroll administration team and will work in partnership with our Payroll Technology Outsource Provider ADP as part of the total payroll solution. The role will be responsible for all aspects of Norway payroll's on-going provision and business requirements and will work in partnership with the rest of the HR Services Team to ensure the operations are run efficiently and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities:

*Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of the main monthly country payroll run, required off-cycle and expense payment runs and the balancing of payroll accounts.
*To act as the company's main expert on Norwegian payroll legislation, taxation and understanding of appropriate collective agreements to ensure the payroll is continually compliant.
*Accountable for the sign off for the country payroll and change requests which impact payroll processing systems setup and processes.
*Provide appropriate liaison with the government authorities on the provision of required reporting, annual submissions or general ongoing interactions.
*Responsible for the management planning and execution of payroll policies, processes and systems utilisation to ensure payroll processing works effectively within our business and for its employees.
*To have a working understanding of the payroll systems setup, working in close collaboration the HR Technology Team across ADP Payroll, HCM HR System, Kronos Time Recording and Concur Expense systems.
*Ensure the appropriate interactions and working relationships with key business stakeholders such as HR, Finance and ADP.
*Providing all necessary payroll output for internal financial reporting and accounting, government reporting and third-party requirements.
*Directly manage the Norway Payroll Team ensuing the Team members and setup is efficiently organised and developed to meet the ongoing fulfilment of the payroll and to meet the quality standards set.
*To work in partnership with ADP as our Payroll Systems Provider and to work with ADP's Client Services Team on the stability and improvement of our service delivery through ADP, holding regular Client Service Meetings and reviewing SLA's and service standards with the client.
*Responsible for the appropriate management and protection of the business's payroll and employee related data as involved in the total end to end payroll process, with awareness of data protection laws such as GDPR.
To ensure data quality in performing regular reconciliation audits against dependent payroll data.
*Interfacing with the business third party payroll vendors as appropriate.
Must liaise and work within communities of expertise with other Regional/Payroll Country Payroll Managers on Global / Regional Payroll Initiatives and projects.
*Ensures the appropriate provision of communication materials such as Employee guides and business communications to stakeholders.
*Occasional business travel within Europe is necessary for wider HR Service Team activities, with international travel being an occasional requirement.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential

*Degree Educated: preferably in Finance, Human Resources, Business, Economics, or any other related field.
*Certified Payroll Professional or similar accreditation.
*Minimum 5 years' experience in Norway Payroll Management & Processing.
*Good command of English - both written and spoken.
*Experience with leading a Payroll Team.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desirable

*General Degree or Equivalent Education
*Knowledge of ADP or SAP Payroll
*Proficient in Microsoft Office suite skills, with good proficient in MS Excel and data handling skills.
*Payroll management experience in a business with different and varying tariff agreements, Union arrangements and collective agreements.
