The Role:
The Payroll Supervisor -purpose is to maintain a service orientated and quality driven payroll service to Denmark employee base, working alongside a dedicated Payroll Administrator. The Payroll Supervisor - Denmark reports directly to the Regional Payroll Manager HR Services and works in partnership with the wider Regional HR Services Team on the end to end payroll technology.
Duties & Responsibilities:
*Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of the monthly country payroll run, required off-cycle and the balancing of payroll accounts.
*To be the subject matter expert on Danish payroll legislation, taxation and understanding of appropriate collective agreements to ensure the payroll is continually compliant.
*Working with the Payroll Administrator ensure the appropriate payroll input and data processing.
*To accurately prepare and process payroll time recorded payments and balances.
*Prepares the sign off for the country payroll and change requests which impact payroll processing systems setup and processes, for the Regional Payroll Manager.
*Provide appropriate liaison with the government authorities on the provision of required reporting, annual submissions or general ongoing interactions.
*Works with local HR in the updating of payroll policies and associated processes.
*Ensure the appropriate interactions and working relationships with key business stakeholders such as HR, Finance and Visma.
*Providing all necessary payroll output for internal financial reporting and accounting, government reporting and third-party requirements.
*To work in partnership with Visma as our Payroll Systems Provider and to work with VISMA's Client Services Team on the stability and improvement of our service delivery through VISMA, holding regular Client Service Meetings and reviewing SLA's and service standards with company as the client.
*To ensure data quality in performing regular reconciliation audits against dependent payroll data.
*Interfacing with the business third party payroll vendors as appropriate.
*Occasional business travel within Europe is necessary for wider HR Service Team activities, with international travel being an occasional requirement.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:

*Certified Payroll Professional or similar accreditation.
*Minimum 5 years' experience in Denmark Payroll Management & Processing.
*Good command of English - both written and spoken.
*Experience with leading a Payroll Team.

*Knowledge of VISMA Payroll
*Payroll experience in a business with different and varying tariff agreements, Union arrangements and collective agreements. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite skills, with good proficient in MS Excel and data handling skills.
