The Role:
Leads the HR team in providing a generalist HR service; advising and guiding the business on strategic and operational human resources issues.

Lead the UK HR team in providing a generalist HR service, in areas including:
* Resourcing, talent attraction and retention
* People development & learning
* Organisational design and culture
* Performance management
* Total Rewards
* Employee Relations
* HR projects
* Succession planning
* Policy and systems
Advising and guiding the business on strategic and operational human resources issues.
Manage the performance management process in Client , supporting the performance appraisal process and execution of individual development plans
Ensure that the organisation is equipped for success through succession planning and learning and development opportunities.
Responsible for the reporting of headcount to KNOC for all Client locations.
Accountable for all people related matters, giving counsel and advice to staff and managers and assist in the development of fit for purpose HR processes to ensure compliance with current legislation, best practice and company guidelines.
Provide advice, support and input on all compensation and benefit matters including annual review process, REMCO preparation, offers of employment, salary survey analysis to ensure that client remains an attractive employer.
Everyone working for or on behalf of Client has the following responsibilities with regard to his or her work to:
* Familiarise with the client Policies, including the policies on HSE, Risk Management and Major Hazards;
* Familiarise with the One client Management System and its meaning for day-to-day work;
* Familiarise with the work and be aware of all associated risks for People, the Environment, Assets and Reputation (PEAR);
* Report any incident, near miss, hazards (unsafe acts/situations) and improvement suggestions;
* Know their roles and responsibilities;
* Actively participate in any job or HSEQ training or instruction by or on behalf of client;
* Use all provided means as intended and according to their purpose.

* A fundamental knowledge and understanding of generalist HR practices, systems and procedures and how these can be implemented across an Exploration and Production business.
* The incumbent should have demonstrable operational HR experience including experience in compensation and benefits.
* CIPD qualified
* Degree qualified in Human Resources or suitable equivalent
* Demonstrable qualities should include strong interpersonal skills, people engagement at all levels, and internal and external communications skills. The need is for an individual who can ensure the HR function is held in high regard, so the emphasis on professional pride and functional excellence will be critical.
* This role will be responsible for operational and strategic Human Resources Management, requiring the incumbent to have drive, ambition and aspiration to take the function forward
* A hands on style and an ability to deliver results in a personable, approachable and energetic manner, in a non-hierarchical, empowering manner.
* The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have credibility with Business Leaders as someone who understands and can contribute to the broader business agenda, as well as leading in the HR space.
