The Role:
* The Asset Planning Lead owns and runs a transformation initiative focused on developing, monitoring, and updating a resource loaded integrated planning and scheduling process for the Asset including performance reporting
* They are accountable to the Asset LT for the effectiveness of the integrated planning process within the asset.

Scope / accountability:
* Define and Develop 'fit-for-purpose' planning and scheduling process, embedding ways of working within the Asset that enable the delivery of improved business performance
* Accountable for raising the profile of the importance of integrated planning for business performance delivery through Leadership briefings, constructing and delivering training, coaching and awareness sessions
* Develop and embed key performance measures for integrated planning and scheduling
* Developing strong working relationships with Operations, Support Functions and Project Managers; attending meetings as required, to establish expectations and resource
* Work closely with Asset support functions and site leaders to establish a shared understanding of integrated planning, establishing effective ways of working and planning stability and control
* Within Asset ensure consistent implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Activity Planning process and standardisation of planning data.
* Development of data recording, assessment and reporting to provide a consistent set of planning metrics (lead and lag)
* Verification of planning deliverables with process requirements
* Leading development and analysis of activity plans and schedules
* Ensuring close-out phase activities are suitably supported and that planning deliverables and data are suitably archived
* Ensure clear and transparent processes are in place to allow functional interfaces to be incorporated in the Asset plans
* Ensure a process is in place where-by the 28d/90d and 8Q planning process is accurate and functioning successfully, aligned with annual financial and production plans and relevant to the plan owner.
* Accountable for providing health metrics on the planning processes within the business and proposing remedial/improvement ideas.

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
