The Role:
The Site Contracts Administrator will report into the Commercial Manager providing integral support to the project contracts / commercial team. They are responsible for assisting line manager to manage of all contractual / commercial matters (including finance, legal, tax and contractual) on the project including subcontracts

This is a site role 5x2 DIDO roster from Perth working 50 hour week. This will be based on an hourly rate plus 10% site uplift

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Administer the project supply chain function including: Applying the contracting strategy
  • Administration of procurement phase including request for quotation, bid evaluation, compilation of contracts, contract execution, issue of purchase orders
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and application of key contract templates (including supply contracts, construction contracts etc)
  • Support in administration of variations including amendment of contract terms
  • Administer all commercial aspects of the head-contract and/or subcontracts
  • Ongoing administration and refinement of the contract administration systems, registers, procedures

Their Australian business is undergoing an exciting growth phase which will see them expand their portfolio with both greenfield and brownfield projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Diploma or tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce, Finance, Business or similar
  • Understanding of Oracle, SAP
  • Experience in Project Control systems
  • Commercial and contractual awareness, in particular with EPCM or EPC contract delivery models in industrial construction projects (mining or oil & gas) for an engineering or construction company
  • Experience in working within a commercial team and contract negotiation skills
    General understanding of project accounting reporting requirements and variance analysis
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel)
